What is Project R.E.A.L.? |
Project R.E.A.L. is a program designed to prepare pre-service
teachers to work within high need fields and Title I schools within an
accelerated time-frame.
The goals of the project are:
- Provide a fast-track to teacher
certification for those desiring to teach secondary English,
mathematics, social studies, foreign language, or science.
- Prepare high-quality teachers to teach
in high-need schools.
- Provide teaching experiences with
students and a mentor teacher.
- Provide continued support during the
first year of teaching.
